Voices from the Field with Jonathan Vander Els: Graeme Crowther

In this podcast, Graeme Crowther shares how he is approaching math instruction with his students, including his lesson setup, a 15-20 minute video lesson, eliciting opportunities for students to put their own voices out there, and using exit tickets to quickly assess where his students are. Mr. Crowther also discusses how he is attempting to keep the personal connections with his students and what Concord High School is doing to meet the needs of students who aren’t connected through “no-tech assignments”. Graeme also shares how he’s thinking about trying to continue the performance-based assessments and what this might look like as we move forward.
