Voices from the Field with Jonathan Vander Els: Dr. Jahmal Mosley

“Are we our brother’s keepers?” In this Voices podcast, we are joined by Dr. Jahmal Mosely, superintendent of the Nashua School District.

Dr. Mosley, or “Mose” shares how his background, growing up in Brockton, prepared him to help lead this “formidable opponent” during this critical time.

Boxing and football were part of the lifeblood for those growing up in this suburb of Boston, and Dr. Mosley shares background that helped to prepare him for leading the Nashua School District and face the challenges, including this pandemic, that have come their way.

Jahmal hones in on the importance of working together for a common purpose and notes the applicability of that today, citing the importance of thinking about “we” not, “me”.

In this refreshing Voices podcast, you will gain an appreciation for how one’s upbringing can help prepare you to lead in a time of turbulence, allowing you to clearly see the need to be each other’s keeper.
