In this Voices Podcast, we are joined by Dr. Carl Ladd, Executive Director of the New Hampshire School Administrators’ Association.
Dr. Ladd shares NHSAA’s role during this crisis, specifically how the various organizations in NH have worked together to synthesize and analyze the information coming in and to message in a similar way so as to best support educators in NH.
Dr. Ladd shares the challenge in the beginning of the pandemic, in the absence of clear guidance and information, to keep the lines of communication open and clear, both with those at the state level, but also with constituents.
Carl discusses their shift from being reactionary (in the beginning of the pandemic), to proactively putting the information that would be most helpful and germane to what districts were dealing with.
Dr. Ladd’s closing remarks point to this response of educators as indicative of the strength of local districts and the educators in schools and districts for stepping up during a tremendously difficult time.
